Living in Hampstead

Published: 06/09/2022

Gorgeous Hampstead

The beautiful North London neighbourhood of Hampstead Village feels like a step back in time while being only 10 minutes from the city centre. While maintaining its visual attractiveness, this town has grown and evolved.
Because of its numerous literary and cultural connections, Hampstead continues to entice tourists seeking a break while yet being near to the metropolis. The distance between Bank and Hampstead, which has its own tube stop on the Northern line, is just thirty minutes and seven stops, respectively, from Tottenham Court Road.
The region is connected to the rest of London by the Hampstead Heath overground station. The region boasts some of central London's most prominent property appraisals.
Living in Hampstead is like being in a vintage film, and famous people call it home. Strolling up and down this city's winding alleys over the years, the charming architecture, superb perspectives, and picture-perfect scenery never cease to amaze me and no doubt will amaze you too. It truly is utterly breath taking.

I guess you are wondering who are the famous celebrities are who reside within Hampstead.
They are:
  • Liam Gallagher
  • Helena Bonham Carter
  • Jonathan Ross
  • Ricky Gervais
Well, that’s according to London Walking Tours

A Hampstead property

Small cottages to enormous, extraordinary Victorian homes may be found in Hampstead. Along roads like East Heath Road, you could see enormous Victorian red-brick mansions close to the Heath with soaring bay windows and entry halls. Rows of Regency-style terraces may be found closer to the High Street, along with a few more contemporary homes that blend in nicely with the neighbourhood.

The lovely homes that line tiny alleys like Flask Walk add to the neighborhood's village-like atmosphere. There are several busy roads in the neighbourhood, including Bishops Avenue, Heath Street, North End Way, and Spaniards Road. Due to the size of the homes, the quantity of green space, and the high concentration of great schools in the area, Hampstead residences are very well-liked by families.

Residence in Hampstead

Along the congested high street, there are several independent bars, cafés, restaurants, and luxury pubs. The variety of banks, pharmacies, and apparel stores that one would expect to find in a metropolis are just a few of the additional local conveniences. Not forgetting  The Everyman Hampstead, a boutique independent cinema franchise with locations in Holly Bush Vale, Hampstead, and North West London. This is where the Everyman Cinemas group begain  So, because of this, and the many other aspects, Hampstead draws families to its "village" like atmosphere while still being close to the City.

Hampstead Heath, a 790-acre public park, has ponds, wooded areas, and undulating hills. Hampstead Marsh, one of London's most well-known parks, located around six kilometres from Trafalgar Square. Among the assets that make up a natural reserve are The Heath, three public bathing ponds, a Lido, the mediaeval manor home Kenwood House, and others.
What more could you ask for? It’s an amazing place to live!

Is Hampstead a great place to live?

It offers serene, beautiful rural landscapes just a few kilometres from Central London and populated areas like Camden. Famous people, creative types, artists, and poets have all lived in Hampstead. They were inspired by the area's interesting cobblestone roads and wide-open spaces.
So I would say “yes”. Hampstead is a great place to live.
